Another First

Last night was Claire's dance recital and she was so excited. I wasn't sure how she was going to do considering she really hasn't been into dance very much and would try to talk me out of taking her every week. Once we arrived at MBU where the recital was being held and she saw all the people she got sooo excited. All the little girls looked so cute and the two boys that were in her class look adorable too. The theme of the entire recital was Candyland, their first dance was a tap routine and was done to the song Candyman. Out of the two dances they do Claire told me that this one was her favorite and I could definitely tell as she was all smiles during it and did a fantastic job.



The second dance was ballet and danced to the song Baked a Cake, again the kids all did great and looked so darn cute!!



We are going to take a little break from dance next year and maybe do gymnastics instead. I don't know if she truly didn't enjoy dancing or if it was just because she is still a little too young. We will see, if she asks to do it again in the future we will, but I am not going to push her into it.
