I decided enough was enough and headed over to Weight Watchers yesterday to sign up and try out this new program. Back in the spring I was dieting myself, watching what I was eating and exercising daily and took off about 15 pounds. Well those lovely pounds decided that as soon as I stopped all the exercise they wanted to come right back on. :( Both my sister and I have joined so I am hoping this will keep me motivated and we can do this together. I have set a weight loss goal for myself at 40 lbs. We are both pumped and decided that by the holidays we are going to look fantastic!! Back in 2008 I went on a diet with my neighbor/friend Carol (who leaves in 2 days to head to the new life that awaits them in Florida) and lost 40 lbs, that was the thinnest I had been since high school/college. However, if I lose 40 lbs this time around I will be thinner than I was back in 2008, so.................here is to determination!!
I was throwing around the idea of trying the weight loss HcG drops. Have any of you heard/done those? I know 3 people that did it and lost over 20 lbs in 1 month. I was going to try that out until I read more into it. There are a lot of don'ts and can'ts involved and you can only consume 500 calories a day. That just can't be healthy for you and even though they say the drops help you from being hungry, I am sorry but I would be starving! Well I am off to the gym, wish me luck ladies!!

The Pact
As most of you know we moved a year ago to our new home leaving behind some wonderful neighbors and friends. Well what you don't know is that we had a pact! Yes, there was three other families plus ours that had a pact that nobody would ever move and we would all stay neighbors and raise our kiddos together. Well Cory and I were the first to break this pact and now two of our other old neighbors have sold their houses and are moving to Florida. Yep, they are BOTH moving to Florida, crazy right? This past Saturday all four of the families got together for one last hooray before they take off to Florida.
Here are some of the kids together, this picture was taken back in 2008. They all look so young don't they?
Sloan, Landon, Claire, Tia and Brooke
Now look at them! They are all getting so big.
Claire and Tia, Claire was 3 and Tia was 2.5 years old
Now they are 6 and 5 along with their friend Brooke who is almost 8!!
Paige and Landon have come so far!! From these faces to...................
these.....................
The gang! We have Chase who is 12, Grace who is 9, Sloan who is 8, Brooke will be 8 in September, Claire 6, Jackson will be 6 in November, Tia will be 6 in February, Paige 4 and Landon 3.5!! They are all at such great ages now and everyone is leaving!!!
Then there are the dads, no more karaoke for these two!
Mike, Mike, Cory and Lee
Kathaleen and I can still karaoke but not with Carol or Kelli. :(

The adult gang!
The Stuart's such a sweet family you all will be missed. Good luck in Tampa!
The Rogers, they lived directly across the street from us so we will REALLY miss them. Who else will we ever window dance with again? Long story another blog.

Goodbye friends, have safe travels and promise to keep in touch and visit!!!

Family Vacation 2011
Hi all, yes, I am still alive just been super busy this summer and frankly haven't had a whole lot to talk about/share. We did however go on a family vacation to Gulf Shores, AL the middle of June and had a great time. So I figured why not post some pics of our trip and give you all a little run down.
Our view!
Our first day, the girls were so excited to get to the beach!!
Claire and daddy doing some bodysurfing.
Paige and I watched them and played in the sand

Daddy and his girls on Father's Day!

At the Hangout for dinner!

After dinner we decided to hit the beach and do some crabbing.
Cory showing the girls how it is done, we caught one.
There he is.......we discovered that there are different kids of crabs to catch. Sand and water, we definitely prefer the sand ones as the water crabs (we saw a few that others had caught) are scary looking.
One of my favorite pictures from the trip!!!

Heading to the Track for some go karts and rides

The finished product, they were so proud
We had to go into town and buy a boogie board so we could ride the waves the right way.

Our last night there we went to Tacky Jack's which we were told have a beautiful sunset. They were right, the food was average but the view was breath taking.

After dinner we decided to try crabbing one last time. Claire changed out of her dress because she didn't want it to get all sandy.
Claire took this picture of the 3 of us, she is turning into quite the little photographer.
She took this one too!
