Here is the latest, the bathroom is completely gutted from the ceiling down to the floor. It took 3 weekends to rip it all out anyone want to take a guess how long it is going to take to put it all back in???
We went to Lowe's over the weekend and picked out new faucets for the sinks and we also went to Gateway Kitchen and Bath and ordered the new vanity, counter top and sinks. Last thing I need to do is head back to Lowe's and pick out new light fixtures. We have had the marble for the floor for over a year as we have already put it other places in the house. I also already have the linens bought and waiting in the closet to get put out. I am really hoping that this will all be done by middle of June, that gives Cory 7 weeks to fulfill my request. Only time will tell!
What was wrong with the CEILING??? I guess my idea of a remodel is different than Cory's, huh?! :) Good luck over there. Glad you ordered your vanity, how exciting. Can't wait to see the finished product! You guys should have called Renovation Realities and they could have filmed it all!! I love to watch ppl remodel
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think you are being too optimistic having it finished in 7 weeks but, if everything goes well, you might get it accomplished. Cory has really taken on a big project, but I know it will look beautiful when it is finished.
ReplyDeleteNothing was wrong with the ceiling until the roofers put their foot or shovel not sure which through it. So we had a good sized hole to fix and we needed to replace the old fan, Cory always has to go CRAZY. Well I call it CRAZY he says it is doing it the right way, not sure about this as of yet.
