On Saturday Cory and I went out to dinner with some of our neighbors, we decided on B. Donovan's as none of us had been there before and it has a nice covered patio where we could eat outside. It was so nice to be able to sit and have adult conversation without having to sensor ourselves or spell things so the kids won't know what we are talking about. We got to B. Donovan's a little before 6pm and didn't leave until almost 9pm. It was nice to be able to have an appetizer and a pitcher of beer (okay maybe 2), unlike usual where we get soda and our main dish so we can get in and out as quick as possible. It was a good thing that we didn't have any kids with us last night, our appetizer took at least 30 minutes to come out (chicken nachos too I mean come on how hard is that to prepare) and then our dinner took probably another 30, but since we didn't have the kids and had no place to go it all worked out fine. At least for those of us who weren't in need of food because we weren't starting to feel the affect of the alcohol (Carol)...And for those of us who weren't so thirsty (the waiter took forever to get our waters) that we had to keep sucking down our Vodka Collins even though our head was spinning (Kelli).......
Ahhhh good times, good times I love our neighbors. Thanks for such a fun evening guys can't wait to do it again in October.
