It is offical...............

First grade has started and my baby is gone until 4:15pm. The house already seems so quiet and different. Paige and I are going to bake some chocolate chip cookies this afternoon as a surprise for Claire when she gets home from school.

    How cute does she look and too grown up. The years are flying by too quickly. I know Paige is going to miss her in the afternoons. I plan to call tonight to talk to her to see how her first day went.

    I love her backpack! That's one thing I've really missed having all boys:( They always want plain black with something like a scull or WWE or TapOut...One another note. I'm reading a book right now call Age of Opportunity or Season of Survival. It's about parenting teens. Seeing those years as a super important stage in the spiritual life of your child...rather then 7 years parents just pray to they live through. I'll let you know how it goes:)

    Oh my, Claire looks so grown-up. I still can't get over that she will be in 1st grade this year. The dress is so cute and of course I LOVE the backpack too!! I sure hope her day went well!! I was sure thinking about her!!
