Vegas

First day/night in Vegas.

We were lucky and were able to stay at the new hotel they just built The Cosmopolitan. Here is a look at our room, it was really nice. We found out that normally this room would cost $400 a night. We were lucky and didn't have to pay that much as we got the group rate that Cory's work paid throughout the week for the nights that we were there.

The door is to the left of this picture so when you first walk in you see the sitting area. They was also a nice desk with a docking station for your computer and a flat screen TV above the desk that could rotate towards the couch.

Across from the desk was your "kitchen" I guess you could say, with a fridge and microwave. They also had food stocked that you could eat, however, it was very overpriced so we didn't eat yet alone touch it. The food was on a scale and if you took it off this scale for more than 60 seconds regardless if you ate it or not, you bought it.

If you were to continue going straight you would go through a short walkway with closets on your left and the bathroom on your right. Straight back to the big king sized, pillow top bed!

The bed: there was another flat screen TV directly across from the headboard that was mounted on the wall. You can also see a crystal light fixture, there was another one in the sitting area.

The bathroom, the door to the right is where the potty was. Nice double sinks!

Shower was HUGE! I swear it was so big that 6 adults could all fit, if you are into that sort of thing. Yikes!!
If you walked through the shower you could get to the sunken tub.
View from our balcony, this was 1 of 3 pools at the hotel.
Here Cory and I are at another one of the 3 pools! It had a gorgeous view.

Here is the view from the pool it was hard to get one as I had to reach over the glass so I didn't get a reflection.

After dinner at the In & Out Burger we walked around the strip for a little while.
The fountains outside the Bellagio, I love watching the water "dance" to the different songs.

I was really dragging the first night as my time clock was 2 hours behind Vegas. So even though it was only 10pm Vegas time my body was telling me it was midnight and way past my bedtime. I will post our second day/night tomorrow.
